The new service EuroMiniStorage made available provides storage room of various dimensions (from a couple of square-metre, small cupboards to large rooms or even market halls), according to the need of potential clients who want to keep various items but do not have enough space in their houses.
Easily ignitable materials and valuable goods (money, jewellery) are not allowed and the business owner said that only under exceptional circumstances the products brought to be stored by the customer were to be checked.
Moreover, besides the storage area, the company makes available for the clients a series of useful utensils, like cartons, sticking tape, locks, cutters, shelves, hangers, etc for the customization and a better organization of the storage area. At the same time, the company offers the possibility of using one of the vehicles in its own car pool in order to transport the products from the client’s house to the warehouse.
EuroMiniStorage represents the first important Canadian investment in the field of self-storage in Romania and provides the possibility of renting from 1 to 27 square metres space, under the form of individual compartments accessed only by a personalized security card.
In terms of the renting price, Danu Temelie, EuroMiniStorage managing partner for operations in Romania and Hungary, said it was calculated for each stored item.
The service is available 24/7 and has individual alarm systems, smoke detectors and valid insurance for the goods stored.
EuroMiniStorage proposes a service considered to be flexible, safe, profitable and intelligent regardless of the fact that you store a motorbike, a pair of skis or just some old furniture. The storage capacity is of 1,000 units on three levels and the minimum renting period is 30 days.
At present, EuroMiniStorage operates not only in Bucharest but also in Budapest, and the company’s plans for the next 36 months are to open four other warehouses in each of the above- mentioned cities.
The construction in Bucharest started in August 2008 and the building received the operating permit in November 2009. The building was especially built to house this type of storage service, with the help of Shurgard, the number-one consultancy company in Europe in terms of self-storage space.
