Prognosis Commission predicts investments to grow 33.3 pct of GDP in 2008

The National Prognosis Commission (CNP) revised upwards its forecast regarding the investment rates related to the Gross Domestic Product over 2008-2013, on the occasion of the preliminary spring prognosis on medium-term, 2008-2013.
 
The 2008 investment rate will stand at 33.3 percent of the GDP, that is an increase by 18 percent on the previous year, the Commission said.
 
On the occasion of the final variant of the autumn prognosis on a medium-term, published late last year, CNP estimated an investment rate standing at 28.7 percent of the GDP, that is an increase by 13 percent on the previous year.
 
The 2010 investment rate will account for 36.2 percent of the GDP and is to increase constantly in 2011, 2012 and 2013, up to 38.4 percent of the GDP by 2013, according to the CNP preliminary prognosis.
