Raiffeisen Evolution real estate developer on April 16 launched Floreasca City real estate project, with investment standing at 250 million euros.
The project will have two stages, the first includes an office building and a retail area. One of the office buildings, Sky Tower, will be 131 m high, the highest building of its kind in Bucharest, with 37 storeys. The second building, Office Wing, will be built over a shopping center. The two office buildings will cover 90,000 sq m and will have quality standards for class A + offices.
Promenada shopping center will stretch over 50,000 sq m, it will include 135 stores and a parking lot for 1,100 cars.
In a second stage, a third building will be erected, with a destination not yet set.
The designing of Floreasca City started as early as 2005 and construction will begin in the second quarter this year. The project is to be ready in end 2010.
Raiffeisen Evolution is a real estate developer in Central and Eastern Europe, currently employing 230 people in 16 locations in Europe. In the Romanian market, it developed projects such as JW Marriott Grand Hotel, Oracle Tower, Baneasa Center and Casa Mosilor.
