Project worth 42.6 million lei reaches final stage

President of the Association of Intercommunity Development (ADI) ''Centrul Transilvaniei'' (Centre of Transylvania) Alexandru Petru Fratean on Aug.25 announced that the approval of the financing of the project on the acquisition of equipment for interventions in case of emergency situations in Region 7 Centre (centre Romania) worth 42.6 million lei has reached the last stage.
Fratean said the project "Acquisition of specific equipment for the improvement of capacity and quality of the system of intervention in emergency situations and for the granting of medical emergency aid" in the Region 7 Centre has switched to the strategic assessment.
''This is the last stage ahead the approval of the project of financing. Receiving favorable results so far were the check-up of administrative conformity, eligibility, technical and financial assessment,'' said ADI president.
The project is designed to increase the quality of services for public safety and medical assistance in emergency situations and major disasters in the counties of Region Centre – Alba, Brasov, Covasna, Harghita, Mures and Sibiu – through the acquisition of 39 equipment pieces worthy 42.65 million lei, designed to ensure prompt and efficient interventions.
Fratean said that until the approval of financing, the representatives of the intermediary body, namely the Regional Development Agency Centre and of the Authority of Management, which is the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Housing will go on site to check up the accuracy of information included in the financing application.
