Radisson Hotel, officially opened

Radisson SAS Bucharest Hotel was inaugurated officially on September 18. The total investment in this hotel stood at 70 million euro.
Radisson (former Bucuresti Hotel) was opened for the public in April 2008, with an accommodation capacity of 424 rooms, out of which 301 standard ones, 74 executive ones, 10 rooms for disabled people and 39 suites.
Radisson SAS Hotel has 4 restaurants, three bars a swimming pool, a summer terrace and a conference centre of 1,500 sqm, including a hall that can host up to 500 people and other 11 smaller rooms for various meetings, equipped with state-of-the-art audio-video devices and wireless Internet connection.
Radisson SAS is the premium brand of the hotel group Rezidor, one of the world’s top 5 hotel groups.
At end-2007, Radisson SAS was operating 155 hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Radisson SAS Hotel in Bucharest is the biggest 5-star hotel in Romania and the biggest  Radisson SAS hotel in Eastern Europe.
The development and opening strategy of the first Radisson SAS hotel in Romania was draw up by Torbjorn Bodin, who is the general manager of Radisson Hotel in Bucharest.
