The Romanian Group of commodities railway transportation Grampet is to register this year revenues in the value of 320 million euros, a surge of some 30% compared to last year, one of the company shareholders Vasile Didila told Agerpres on September 25.
He pointed out that the company plans to enter the market in Serbia as operator, after finalizing the acquisition of a wagon making plant in Smeredevo.
“We plan to enter as an operator on the market in Serbia, most likely next year, but also to consolidate our position on the markets in Bulgaria and Hungary, as well as we eye Slovenia and Slovakia”, said Didila.
He underlined that Grampet, which holds in Romania the transportation operator Romanian Railway Group, as well as railway material producers Reva Simeria and Remar Pascani, will implement this year investments in the value of some 70 million euros in units held in all countries where it is present.
