Romania part in EU monitoring mission to Ukraine

Romania is part in the EU observers' mission arrived in Ukraine, on Friday to monitor the natural gas shipment to Europe and that has been studying the documentation provided by the Ukrainian side, the Ukrainian state-run Naftogaz Company's vice president Vladimir Trokolichi told a news conference on Saturday (Jan 10).
"We provided the European Commission all the materials required to assess the situation and we are working on them in compliance with the recommendations, which is to allow the resumption of the natural gas shipment through Ukraine, as well as the deliveries to Ukraine," Naftogaz official pointed out.
"Today the observers are analyzing our documents and we will then await the Russian party's decision," the Naftogaz official said, adding that the mission is made of experts of Gas de France, as well as from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Romania.
