Romania stays 28th in FIFA ranking

Romania’s national football team stays on the 28th position in the world ranking recently made public by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), with 792 points, with the general ranking staying unchanged in its upper part, no international games having taken place in the latest month.
Spain continues to rank 1st, with 1,792 points, followed by Germany, 1,362 points and the Netherlands, 1.360 points.

Romania’s adversaries in the preliminaries of the 2010 World Football Championships, European Group 7, are positioned as following: France ranks 10th, with 1,074 points, Serbia ranks 23rd, with 819 points, Lithuania – 59th, with 550 points, Austria – 79th (-1), 446 points, and the Feore Isles – 165th (+1), with 96 points.
