Heineken Romania sold mineral water division

Heineken Romania sold the mineral water division which was part of the former company Bere Mures to entrepreneur Ioan Balan, said a press release of the company.

But the contact between the two companies was signed by the company that said that the price of the transaction will not be published, according to the global policy of the company.

Heineken bought in 2008, Bere Mures Co, holder of beer company in Ungheni, Mures, center, and of a mineral water company in Ungheni, Mures country, and of a mineral water company in Bacaia, Hunedoara, western Romania.

The transaction was intermediated by KBC Securities, Shoenherr Romania assisted Heineken Romania in this process. Heineken Romania will continue to invest in the development of the facility in Targu Mures and in Neumarkt brand, as well as in the other brands of the company.

Heineken Romania has a market brand of 29 percent, according to AC Nielsen 2008. Heineken Romania offers on the domestic market the brands Heineken, Ciuc Premium, Golden Brau, Neumarkt, Buceci, Gosser, Schlossgold, Silva, Gambrinus, Harghita, Hategana, Zipfer (imported) and Edelweis (imported). The company has five facilities in Constanta, south-east, Craiova, south, Hateg, center, Miercurea Ciuc, center, and Targu Mures, center.
