Youth minister attends EU Council on education

Romania’s Youth and Sports Minister Monica Iacob-Ridzi will attend the meeting of the EU Council on Education, Youth, Culture, in Brussels, on May 11, informs the ministerial pres release.
The meeting’s agenda schedules the approval of the document named „The assessment of the current framework for European cooperation in the field of youth and the future projects for the renewed framework – the Adoption of the conclusions by the Council and the governmental officials of the EU member countries attending the Council,” as well as an opinion exchange on the future priorities and instruments for the European cooperation on youth issues.
Likewise, before the meeting of the Council, the Czech EU presidency invites the EU countries’ youth ministers to a working lunch to hold informal talks on the relevant priorities of the EU cooperation in the field of the youth.
To attend the meeting are all the EU member countries deputized for by delegations made up of the youth ministers or the state secretaries and experts in the field of the European Affairs.
