‘Welcome to Bucharest, I am glad to see you again so shortly after we met in Warsaw. It is a honor for us to have you here in Bucharest to consolidate the dialogue with Poland, said Basescu at the start of the meeting.
‘It is a great joy for us to come to Bucharest after the talks we had in Warsaw,’ Bronis law Komorowski said in his turn.
On Wednesday as well, the Polish quest met the Chamber of Deputies Speaker Roberta Anastase, and stressed that Poland wishes the cooperation with Romania as regards the Black Sea zone, particularly the integration of the energy systems of the EU countries supporting at the same time the transit alternatives like Nabucco.
President Basescu and Marshal Komorowski agreed to make their parliamentary dialogue permanent through periodical meetings at the commissions’ level, for the start.
President Basescu and Bronis law Komorowski also met when the former paid an official visit to Warsaw on March 6.
Speaker Robert Anastase met the president of Poland’s Seim in Paris, on Feb 2 in sideline with the Conference of the speakers of the EU Parliaments.
