Festival to mark Italy’s National Day, in Bucharest
A Festival will be staged in Bucharest, over May 20 June 17 on the special occasion of Italy’s National Day celebrated on June 2, the day marking the Referendum of 1946 when the Italians decided the Republic as their country’s form of government.
The Festival is organized by Italy’s Embassy in Bucharest, the Italian Institute of Culture and the Italian Foreign Commerce Institute in cooperation with other institutions of the ‘Italy System’ present in Romania among which the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania and Unimpresa, and it will include events devoted to Italy and Romania under the sign of the common origin of the two peoples.
‘We are given the opportunity to meet and appreciate, together with our Romanian friends some of the most suggestive events in my country.
Through this kind of events, I wish that even those who have never been given the chance to know our wonderful country and the different ways of expression of ‘Italy in Romania’ could have the occasion through a festival that may let them admire, listen to and taste a few of the pure Italian wonders,’ Italian Ambassador in Bucharest Mario Cospito said.
