Prime Minister Emil Boc and Transport Minister Radu Berceanu inaugurated the Departures terminal of the International Airport of Cluj Napoca (central), on Friday.
The Cluj Napoca-based International Airport is one of the most modern in Romania and Europe, the more that it includes Schengen facilities, PM Boc said.
Minister Berceanu in his turn pointed out that the investment in the International Airport of Cluj Napoca is a model to follow as regards the decentralization, taking into account that it was funded from the county’s budget.
The terminal opened on Friday means an investment worth 25.8 million euros.
The Airport supplies flights to 26 European cities and 15 holiday destinations, director David Ciceo stressed.
