Stock Exchange ends week high

Quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Friday, May 15, gained on average 2.87 percent, an evolution measured by the general composite index of the market BET-C, while the shares of the financial investment companies (SIFs) grew by 0.53 percent – as shown by the BET-FI index.

Trades were performed with 56 issuers on the BVB-Regular market, of which 33 recorded appreciation, 6 stagnated and 17 went down.
The value of the trades on the BVB market stood at 7.422 million euros (31.118 million lei), while on trades on the RASDAQ over-the-counter market stood at 1.373 million euros (5.736 million lei).

The BET index reflecting the evolution of the ten most liquid shares listed recorded a 3.64 percent rise, with the ROTX index having increased by 4.26 percent. The blue-chip extended index BET-XT of the 25 most liquid listed shares went up 3.13 percent, whereas the BET-NG index of companies in the energy and utilities sector went up by 2.69 percent.

The most liquid shares traded were SIF5 Oltenia with 5.327 million lei, SIF2 Moldova with 4.448 million lei, BRD with total trades worth 3.339 million lei, SIF 1 Banat Crisana with 2.21 million lei and Petrom with 2.203 million lei.
