Danube-Black Sea channel, quarter of century of existence

The Danube-Black Sea channel, a national objective of great economic importance and the third in size in the world, after the Suez channel, was officially opened 25 years ago, on May 26, and the celebration of a quarter of century of existence will occasion the organization of festivities with the participation of Romanian guests from abroad.
