PM Boc rules out cabinet reshuffling after European election

The Government is working within the normal parameters, Prime Minister Emil Boc told the public radio station on Monday, ruling out the possibility of a cabinet reshuffling after the June 7 European election.
Asked whether he might consider a first reshuffling after the European election and the release of the European Commission’s report on the reform of the Romanian judiciary, Boc said he does not.
‘The Government is working within the normal parameters. We do not envisage any reshuffling, and I am convinced the ministers will step on the gas more to support investment and their portfolios in the period immediately ahead,’ said Boc.
He also said the Government is working now at the adequate speed and the bureaucratic obstacles that would preclude the ministers form enforcing the Government’s programme have been cleared.
‘I believe we can say now that all the bureaucratic obstacles that would preclude the ministers from enforcing the Government’s programme have been cleared and we are now working at the adequate speed,’ said Boc.
