Anti-crisis measures talked about by Premier with Slovakian Foreign Minister

The measures meant to counteract the effects of the financial crisis, which Romania and Slovakia have taken lately, were talked about on Friday, at the Victoria Palace, by Premier Emil Boc with Slovakian Minister of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajcak.
During the meeting the two officials appreciated the good bilateral economic relations and their development potential in the context of the European relations between the two states, reads a release sent to Agerpres by the press office of the Government.
The two men also made an exchange of opinions on the measures meant to counteract the effects of the financial crisis, in this context Premier Emil Boc mentioning the foreign loan package taken by Romania from the International Monetary Fund, the European Commission, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the anti-crisis measure plan adopted by the Government.
The two officials remarked that both Romania and Slovakia paid special attention to the development of infrastructure and added that substantial funds were allocated in this field with a view to preserving and drawing investors.
Emil Boc and M iroslav Lajcak equally appreciated the diplomatic relations between the two countries. In this context the Slovakian Minister remarked the openness of the Romanian authorities to protecting the rights of the Slovakian minority in Romania and of the national minorities in general.
The Romanian delegation included, besides Prime Minister Emil Boc, Florin Vodita, Romania’s Ambassador in Bratislava.
