The number of real estate transactions and guarantee documents went down in 2009 by 52.35 percent over Jan.-May 2009 as against January-May 2008, the National Union of Notaries Public (UNNPR) announced on Monday, July 13.
According to a release of the UNNPR, the number of real estate transactions decreased 35.77 percent over Jan.-May 2009 as against Jan.-May 2008, whereas the number of real estate guarantee documents went down 68.92% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The tax on revenues from the transfer of real estate properties decreased by 64.15% over Jan- May over the same period one year ago.
