More than 95,000 companies suspend activity in first 7 months

95,279 companies suspended their activity in the first seven months of this year nationwide, almost 13 times more than in the similar time span in 2008, when there were 7,517 such companies, according to the data centralized by the National Office of the Trade Register.

As for the voluntary dissolutions this year there were 13,031 such cases as against 2,006 nationwide in 2008, namely a 549.60 percent increase.
The number of companies whose owners struck them off voluntarily grew from 7,969 in January-July 2008 to 22,621 at present.
