‘Mayors of towns, cities, municipalities and communes will also take care of the collection of these revenues.
As a result of analyzing the database the working group was provided, it was noticed a gap between the collection and the concern for drawing up a correct budget ranging between 11.5 up to 79-80 percent, as it is worth in Romania, with city, town and municipality halls, where high performance can be seen,’ Minister Pogea explained.
Finance Minister stressed that the working group that had met for the first time, supplied results that were quantified in the documents drawn up during the 3-day talks.
Minister Pogea pointed out that the working group’s goal was the decentralization, the acceleration of the decentralization process of the public administration and it also had in view several aspects regarding decentralization mechanisms and rules, the obligation to transfer competences of the most important fields to the local communities, to the local administrations, that are the closest to the citizens.
Finance Minister was attending in Busteni the working meeting of the association structures of the Romanian public authorities, one of the main topics of the talks referring to the decentralization.
