PD-L leaders meet with party MPs over 3 point agenda

The leaders of the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L, in the ruling coalition) are scheduled to discuss on Monday with the party’s parliamentary groups the measures promoted by the government for the reform of the state, the priorities of the legislative session that starts on Tuesday, as well as any other issue raised by the Liberal Democratic MPs.

Speaking in the opening of the works, PD-L president, Premier Emil Boc, said that the first point on the agenda will be a presentation of the vision on the reform of the Romanian state and the legislative measures the government will promote in the period ahead.

According to the Prime Minister, these reforms will „fundamentally change” the juridical system, the way governmental agencies operate and the decentralized educational system.

The PD-L leaders will also establish together with the Senators and deputies the legislative priorities for the parliamentary session that starts on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

At the last point called „Miscellanea”, Emil Boc said that the lawmakers will be given the possibility to present the projects they want to promote in the upcoming parliamentary session, as well as any other problems their local organizations would be facing.
