Gov’t sends draft law on single salary for state-run sector to IMF and World Bank
The Government on Saturday sent to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank the draft law on the single salary for the state-run sector, ministerial sources told.
According to the same sources, the Government is expected to hold an informal meeting on Sunday to discuss about the observations made by the experts of the two international institutions on the draft laws.
On Saturday PM Emil Boc discussed with representatives of ministries on the sidelines of the laws for which the Government will assume responsibility. The draft laws are to be submitted on Monday first thing in the morning to Parliament.
The Government decided to assume responsibility for the three law packages on Education, single salary for the state-run sector and reshuffling of agencies subordinated to the Government, rationalization of public spending, endorsement of the business environment and observance of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission.
