Romania and Thailand discuss growth of economic exchanges
The Romanian Foreign Ministry’s State Secretary Doru Costea and Thailand’s Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Panich Vikitsreth met in Bucharest, on Monday, when they talked about the increase in the commercial exchanges in a balanced manner and the promotion of several cooperation projects, the foreign ministry announced.
The two parties were assessing the stage of the bilateral Romanian -Thai relations, and discussed projects on their re-launch and informed one another about topics of interest that the regional and the international agenda schedules, the economic crisis included.
Likewise, the dignitaries stressed the importance of streamlining the political-diplomatic contacts, at all the levels, for boosting and consolidating the cooperation and the exchanges in fields such as the economy, culture and tourism, both at the bilateral level and at the larger one of the ASEM (Asia Europe Meeting) and of the relations between the European Union and ASEAN (The Association of the Southeast Asian Nations).
In the context, it was emphasized the existing potential in the economic field for the growth in the commercial exchanges in a balanced manner and the promotion of several cooperation projects.
