CSM Chairman: We agreed to negotiate with Gov’t

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Magistrates (CSM) on Thursday stated, after several hours of discussions, that the council decided at its plenary session to accept the Government’s invitation to negotiations, following the parties to meet most probably on Thursday.

He also added that, depending on the result of the negotiations to follow, the general assemblies of the judges and prosecutors could consider launching the protest rallies.

‘CSM considers that the magistrates’ claims are legal and justified and we decided to support such claims,’ Andreies said.
The CSM Chairman also reiterated an older invitation to all the powers of the state make to meet and reach a consensus related to the status of magistrates.
