PM Emil Boc to pay two-day official visit to Italy

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc on Wednesday and Tuesday will pay a two-day official visit to Rome, answering thus the invitation extended by his Italian counterpart Silvio Berlusconi, reads a Government’s press release.
On this occasion, the head of the Romanian Executive will meet at the Vatican Pope Benedict XVI and also Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Secretary of State with the Holy See.

The agenda of the Romanian Premier will include also meetings with the Speaker of the Italian Deputies Chamber Gianfranco Fini and with the Rome Mayor Gianni Alemanno.

Besides meeting the high Italian officials to discuss on such issues of common interest, the Romanian head of the Executive will also have meetings in Rome with representatives of the Italian business environment.

Emil Boc will meet the representatives of the Romanian community too and of various religious cults in Italy.
The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister in his visit to Rome will be made up of the Foreign Affairs Minister Cristian Diaconescu, the Economy Minister Adriean Videanu and of the Health Minister Ion Bazac.
