Unsolved Revolution files one of Traian Basescu’s dissatisfactions

Romanian President Traian Basescu on Tuesday evening said, on the occasion of a speech he delivered before the Parliament, that the current situation in the justice field was ‘the result of the magistrates enjoying a great freedom,’ but criticized the fact that ‘they do not know what to do with it.’
The head of the state reminded the magistrates, on the same occasion, that the Article 21 of the Constitution referring to the free access to justice of every Romanian.

One of the Romanian President Traian Basescu’s biggest dissatisfactions was, according to him, ‘the fact that the Revolution file was left unsolved’.
‘We have a Revolution and a miners’ rebellion, 1,600 people died and no one was found guilty for it. I ask the justice to find a solution for this problem, for this is its duty. The justice has the duty to find he guilty in the name of those who paid with their lives our freedom,’ Traian Basescu said.
