Critical moment of Romanian criminality of Italy overcome, says PM Emil Boc

The critical moment of the Romanian criminality in Italy and its negative impact on the entire Romanian community of this country has been overcome, said on Thursday at the end of his two-day visit to Italy Romanian PM Emil Boc.

Boc said that the opinion was shared by his interlocutors in Rome – Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi, president of the Chamber of Deputies Gianfranco Fini, Mayor of Rome Gianni Alemanno, as well as Pope Benedict XV and State Secretary of the Holy See, Tarcisio Bertone.

‘Things are going back to normal here in Italy. I hope this visit will be the signal of the relaunch, on new bases of normality, of European dignity, of the relationship between Romania and Italy, from the outlook of the way in which the Romanian community should be looked at in this country,’ said Boc.

The Romanian Premier also tackled Romania’s stand on the crimes committed in Italy by some Romanian citizens, showing that there should be shown zero tolerance towards such cases, however, criminality doesn’t have nationality, said Emil Boc.
