Bucharest-Moscow cooperation protocol

Bucharest and Moscow share, starting Friday, a cooperation protocol-framework called by the representatives of the two capital-cities as unprecedented.

During the meeting on the occasion of the „Days of Bucharest – 550 years” of the Bucharest mayor Sorin Oprescu with a Russian delegation headed by the prefect of the administrative sector of Moscow, Alexei Alexandrov, a „serious economic relationship” was set to exist, beyond the cultural collaboration, between the two capitals.

Talks were aimed at a swap of experience in community interest fields, such as infrastructure, public transportation, urban buildings, social programmes dedicated to the children, young families and pensioners, in the context in which the Moscow authorities share a large experience in these areas, and in nanotechnology, communications, schools’ and kindergartens’ building, parkings’ arrangements as well.
