Trade in Gov’t securities keeps BVB liquidity up
Shares traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Friday appreciated 0.06 percent, on the average, as reflected by the developments in the BET-C composite index, while shares in the financial investment companies (SIFs) went up 1.75 percent, as reflected by the BEET-FI index.
Trade on the BVB -Regular main ring was conducted in 51 stocks, 31 of which appreciated, 6 stagnated and 14 depreciated.
The BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks declined 0.53 percent, while the ROTX index depreciated 0.67 percent. The BET-XT extended blue chips index indicating the developments in the 25 most liquid companies went up 0.13 percent, while the BET¬NG index of energy companies and utilities advanced 0.54 percent.
The most liquid stocks were BRD (RON 2.43 million worth of trade); SIF 5 Oltenia (RON 2.11 million); SIF 2 Moldova (RON 1.67 million) and Banca Transilvania (RON 1.44 million).
