Sixth death caused by A/H1N1 recorded in Romania

The National Centre for Infectious Diseases announced the sixth death case in Romania caused by an infection with the A/H 1N1 swine flu virus, with the victim being an adult person suffering from chronic bronchitis, reads a release of the Ministry of Health on Thursday.

There were also confirmed another 124 new cases of infections with A/H1N1 in the latest 24 hours in Romania. According to the abovesaid release, the total cases of /H1N1 that have been recorded in Romania so far reached 3551.
Following the new flu cases, classes will be suspended in several primary schools and high schools, as following: The Spiru Haret No. 6 high school in Bucharest, the Lazuri secondary school in the Dambovita County, the Nenitescu vocational school and the Hasdeu high school in the Buzau County.
