PNL has consultations on Wednesday with UDMR, PD-L and national minorities group

President of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Crin Antonescu announced that, on Wednesday, liberals will carry out negotiations with representatives of the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR), with those of the Democrat-Liberal Party (PD-L) and representatives of the parliamentary group of national minorities other than the Hungarian one, in order to form a Government majority.

“Tomorrow morning (Wednesday – editor’s note) we meet with UDMR, at noon with PD-L and most likely in the afternoon with the national minorities group. (…) It is an attempt to get involved, in honorable conditions, for finding a solution to the political crisis in Romania”, said Crin Antonescu at the end of the meeting with representatives of the Social Democratic Party (PSD).
