Romania takes part in talks of COP15 experts

Romania will be represented at the United Nations Conference on climate changes (COP 15) in Copenhagen in the discussions and negotiations at the experts’ level by a delegation headed by Environment Ministry officials to include representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Public Finances Ministry, the Economy Ministry, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Rural Development, the Transport Ministry and the European Affairs Department.

According to an Environment Ministry release on Tuesday, Romania is the vice-president of the COP 15 conference office by Iozefina Lipan, who heads the Romanian experts’ delegation to the Copenhagen talks. The conference being held over Dec. 7-16 hosts discussions and negotiations at the level of experts starting Dec. 15.
