Two more deaths caused by the H1N1 pandemic virus

Two people from Arad (north-west of Bucharest), a woman and a man, diagnosed with the new flu pandemic virus died on Monday, the specialists with the Cantacuzino Institute in Bucharest being to analyze the samples taken from the two people in order to establish the exact cause of death.

According to the data released by the Arad Public Health Department, the two deceased, a man aged 48 and a woman aged 55 were hospitalized initially with bronchial pneumonia. Afterwards, they were tested and the samples were sent to the Cantacuzino Institute which confirmed that both were contaminated with the A/H 1N1.
According to the Health Ministry, until Monday, 18 cases of deaths caused by the H1N1 pandemic virus were recorded in Romania.
