UNJR requests unblocking of process meant to reform justice

The National Union of Judges in Romania (UNJR) informed on Sunday of the publication of the White Paper for Justice, “a programme document showing the deficiencies in this field in the past few years and the aims and guidelines suggested for a good government, the signing of the pact for justice being the most urgent request.”

Asking for the process meant to reform justice to be unblocked, UNJR says that “the judicial system in Romania must be unconditionally supported by the political and administrative factors for making the act of justice more efficient and for strengthening the professionalism of judges and prosecutors, with a view to defending the citizens’ individual freedoms and rights.”
