Borbely Laszlo gets favourable assent for Environment minister
The commissions were supposed to count for 81 members, yet they numbered only 61. Borbely Laszlo was proposed on Friday, December 18, to take over the Environment and Water Management portfolio, in a third Government formula of the Prime-Minister designate Emil Boc. Between 1996 – 2000, Borbely Laszlo was a secretary of state with the Ministry of Public Transports and Land Development, and between December 2004 – April 2007, he was a minister- delegate for the public works and land development.
For one year and a half (April 2007 – December 2008), the Mures County MP Borbely was proposed and confirmed in the Tariceanu Cabinet, reshuffled, as minister of Development, Public Works and Housing. Currently, Borbely Laszlo is a Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) executive vicepresident.
