Natural gas consumption reaches 105.799mln MWh in Oct.
The domestic natural gas production for consumption accounted for 93.81 percent of the total sources, the first two suppliers Romgaz and Petrom covering 97.4 percent of it, in Oct. 2009. The imported natural gas for consumption represented 65.68 percent of the current imports, this month, the difference in the imports, namely 34.32 percent has been stored.
The first three importers and Romanian natural gas suppliers grossed 81.45 percent together, at a market share of over 14 percent each. The price of the imported natural gas has ranged between 46.51 and 25.36 US dollars a MWh.
