According to N icolaescu, Romania needs a “competent” Government, capable to administrate a “many constraints” budget and not a Government which makes promises “hard to achieve”. “PNL is a political party of the Opposition, therefore its vote will be in accordance with this stance. They say that Romania needs a Government, but not any Government.
Romania needs a competent, professional, politically responsible Government, a Government with responsibility in administrating teh country’s affairs (…) PNL will vote against the Boc Government because he comes today in the Parliament with a series of promises that would not be accomplished.
The 2010 budget is not in accordance with the electoral promises of the Democratic-Liberal Party (PD-L)”, the PNL deputy told the plenum of the Parliament, at the Boc Cabinet investiture joint session. He referred to the Boc Cabinet structure, saying that there are some capable persons, but most of the candidates are “controversial people”.
“The Boc Government structure is not solid, due to the presence of some controversial persons, questionable people from the moral integrity viewpoint (…) Among these characters there are some ministers’ propositions who could be capable to work in the benefit of the Romanians. Our concern is very high, because most of the persons nominated are not capable to do what it is necessary (…)
This Government could not do more than it did the almost same Boc 3 Government. The presence of some ministers’ nominate with technocratic nuances is not enough for this Government to prove competent”, Eugen Nicolaescu added.
