PM Boc says central bank should cut key rate
“If we do not cut the key rate, then we have a problem. We must change the lending policy so that the companies should have access to cheaper credits. If a fast solution is not found, we’ll have problems with backing the business climate’, Prime Minister Emil Boc told a television channel.
He announced he will discuss with the BNR officials in order to unblock the crediting mechanism and stressed such goal will be one of the major priorities of the new government, which is facing a vote of investiture in Parliament on Wednesday.
