Proposal of bilateral cultural agreement between Romania and the Netherlands

Romanian Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Hunor Kelemen, on Wednesday met the Dutch Ambassador in Bucharest, Tanya van Gool, on which occasion the Romanian dignitary proposed a bilateral cultural agreement between Romania and the Netherlands.

‘I believe such an agreement setting out punctually areas where we want to work together, would bring benefits to both countries and would considerably strengthen our cultural and educational cooperation,’ said Hunor Kelemen. According to a release of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MCPN), the Netherlands would be keen to work with Romania in the field of design, architecture and visual education.

‘The conclusion of a bilateral cultural agreement between the Netherlands and Romania could prove to be a successful model, after governments would have made a decision in this regard,’ said the Ambassador, also adding he will make the proposal to the Dutch Government.
