Asked for his opinion related to information circulating in the Romanian newspapers referring to a minimum price of 13,000 euros for Germany, the Dacia representative said that each and every dealer is entitled to provide such information. ‘I do not comment on prices circulating in the media. It is each dealer’s right to talk about prices. For Romania, we talk after March 4,’ the spokesperson of the Romanian-French group said.
In mid-January, Fabrice Cambolive, commercial manager with Dacia-Renault, said that the Dacia Duster model would be available in Romania this spring, at a price to stand below the other 4X4 models existing on the market. According to mobile.de car sales website, the largest virtual car market in Germany, the prices displayed by dealers for Renault-Dacia’s Duster 4X2 model range between 13,040 euros and 16,630 euros, depending on the version and engines.
The 6th model of the Dacia series, Duster, will be launched this spring in Europe, in Turkey and in Maghreb (Algeria and Morocco), following that in June, Duster to be launched under the Renault brand in Ukraine, in the Middle East (Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon), Egypt and in several African countries. Dacia Duster will be produced in Brazil too, at a plant based in Curitiba, where there are also made the Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Logan models.
