According to a release issued by the above-mentioned bank, BCR has already approved to give funds to more than 7,100 families by means of the First Home programme with over 290 million euros. Another more than 900 loan files worth almost 37 million euros are still being worked on.
“We have granted the most numerous loans for the First Home programme so far. We are happy that this programme goes on and that the new terms have been established.
We shall send a competitive offer for the second part of the programme too,” said Serban Coroianu, executive manager of the BCR credit retail directorate.
BCR started giving loans by means of the First Home programme in early August 2009 and was allocated the highest guarantee ceiling, amounting to 420 million euros for the first part of the programme.
BCR, which is a member of the Erste Group, is a universal bank addressing both to the retail clients and the corporate ones, which manages assets amounting to more than 17.2 billion euros.
