Romanian director Serban wins Jury Grand Prix in Berlin

Romanian-Swedish production ‘Eu cand vreau sa fluier, fluier’ (If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle) on Saturday won the Silver Bear the Jury Grand Prix at the 60th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival.

The Golden Bear for the best film went to Turkish production ‘Baľ (Honey), directed by Semih Kaplanoglu, 46. Roman Polanski, 76, won the Silver Bear Best Director for his thriller ‘The ghost writer.’ The jury was chaired by German director Werner Herzog. Among its members were actress Renee Zellweger and Spanish producer Jose Maria Morales.
