PM Boc to meet Bulgarian counterpart in Sofia

Prime Minister Emil Boc is to meet his Bulgarian counterpart Boiko Borisov on February 26 in Sofia, the Government’s Press Office announced on Tuesday.

Boc is scheduled to hold one-on-one talks with Borisov, followed by plenary discussions of the two delegations, to visit the construction site of the Danube River bridge at Vidin-Calafat together with the Bulgarian Prime Minister, and meet the representatives of the Romanian community in Bulgaria.

The official talks will tackle the stage and the prospects of the bilateral relations development, the Romanian-Bulgarian regional cooperation potential, as well as the assessment of the works at Vidin-Calafat Bridge.
During this official visit, the Romanian and Bulgarian development ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the Romania-Bulgaria 2007-2013 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.
