Economy Minister Videanu to visit France this March

Romania’s Economy Minister Adriean Videanu is expected to pay a visit to Paris this early March to meet his French counterpart, French ambassador in Bucharest Henri Paul reported on Tuesday.

The ambassador announced the visit at a ceremony where chief adviser of the French Embassy in Bucharest Nicole Tailefer and deputy director with the Western and Central Europe Department of the Romanian Foreign Ministry Anca Opris were awarded the National Order of Merit in rank of Cavalier.

‘This is a significant gesture attesting to the soundness of the French-Romanian relationship, its dynamism and topicality. The French state secretary for European affairs has recently visited Bucharest, and Romanian Economy Minister Adriean Videanu will be visiting Paris to meet his French counterpart,’ said Henri Paul, adding that the relations between the two countries are functioning well and friendly.
