Joint Romanian-Hungarian Government session most likely to be held this autumn

The next joint Romanian-Hungarian Government meeting will be held, most likely this autumn, after the one scheduled for 2009 has been postponed, Premier Emil Boc said after a meeting with his counterpart Gordon Bajnai in Budapest.

“We agreed to have a joint Government meeting this autumn,” said Emil Boc. Ambassador of Hungary in Bucharest Oszkar Fuzes said recently that joint Romanian-Hungarian Government meetings were very important and that they would continue and the next one would be held in Romania, most probably in the second half of the year.

“It is Romania’s turn to host the joint Government meeting, which will be held after the legislative elections in Hungary in April, most probably in the second half of the year,” says Oszkar Fuzes. A joint Romanian-Hungarian Government meeting should have been held on October 10, 2009, in Bucharest, but it was postponed for 2010.
