PM Boc arrives in Bulgaria

Romania’s Prime Minister Emil Boc arrived on Thursday evening in Sofia, on an official visit at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Bojko Borisov. The schedule of the visit includes private talks between the two prime ministers and talks of official delegates accompanying Boc on his visit.

Boc and Borisov are expected to discuss the latest development in the Romanian-Bulgarian relationship, Romanian-Bulgarian cooperation at a regional level and assess the works on the Vidin¬Calafat bridge. The development ministers of Romania and Bulgaria are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding concerning the 2007-2013 Romania-Bulgaria cross-border cooperation programme.

On Thursday evening, Boc attended a dinner extended by Chair of the Bulgarian Parliament Tsenka Tsacheva. Boc arrived on Thursday evening in Bulgaria, coming from a two-day visit to Budapest, where he attended a security energy summit and a Danube summit.
