Targu Mures municipality, included in National Rally Championship

Targu Mures municipality (north-west of Bucharest) is to host, as a first, over June 4-6, a stage in the National Rally Championship. City mayor Dorin Florea and champion Mihai Leu gave on Friday a press conference presenting information on Targu Mures Rally.

It will include 11 special tests and a super-special pme, totalling 250 km. and between 40 and 50 teams from the country and abroad are expected to take part in this competition. According to Mihai Leu, the national championship has eight stages and the one in Targu Mures will be the third, penultimate on bitumen.
The Targu Mures rally start will be given on June 4, in front of Targu Mures Town Hall, with a super special test in the Serpentinei Vechi zone, 2.7 km. on cubic stone and many hairpin curves.

On June 5 the pilots will start from Targu Mures Town Hall toward Praid, on Sanisor¬Miercurea Nirajului-Mitresti-Eremitu-Praid track, with regrouping on Bucin Mountain and return through Sovata-Damieni-Valea-Sardu Nirajului.
