Romania ranks 4th in terms of lower industrial production, in EU

Romania’s industrial production went 2.5 percent lower in February than January, compared to the European Union’s, scoring a 0.7 rise, after a record increase of 1.7 percent in January, read the data the Eurostat statistical office of the European Union supplies.

The biggest growth was scored in Slovenia (6.4 percent) and the most significant decline happened in Bulgaria (minus 5.7 percent). The annual industrial growth pace went up 4.1 percent in the euro zone and 3.5 percent in the European Union, in Feb 2010 compared to the same month in 2009.
