PM Boc to unveil today how to perform spending cuts at ministries
At the end of a Government meeting that started Wednesday morning and ended late in the evening, spokesperson Ioana Muntean said the prime minister did not present any official position after the meeting because it was too late.
The Government is expected to cut jobs and other spending at ministries and governmental agencies. At the same time, normative acts that will regulate the wage cuts at state companies are to be issued soon, after the austerity measures already adopted for the public sector. The number of state secretary offices will be downsized, but such modifications entail negotiations and rather political decisions.
