Hunor Kelemen: Coalition plus PM-designate functioning protocol needed
Chairman of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR, a junior ruling coalition partner) Hunor Kelemen said that a protocol setting forth the terms of the coalition’s functioning together with Premier-designate Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu needs to be forged.
„We consider that for 2012 we need a coalition functioning protocol signed by all political formations, by all the coalition parties, PDL, UNPR and the parliamentary group of national minorities, as well as by the Premier-designate; some particular elements need to be introduced in this document, beginning with the development of infrastructure and ending with education issues – I have the Targu Mures Faculty of Medicine in mind – the Transylvania motorway and the continuation of investments in works on this motorway. These should be some highly specific elements in absence of which we cannot carry on and political stability is not granted,” said Kelemen at the Palace of Parliament, after the meeting of the UDMR leaders.
He added that the respective protocol would ensure the „consistency” of governing.
